Not at all. Classes are multi-level and completely beginner friendly. Lindsay will offer modifications and progressions throughout each session, so you can work at the level that feels right for you — whether it's your very first class or you've been practicing Pilates for years.
Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes you can move freely in. Avoid very baggy clothing as it can make it harder to see your alignment. Bring a yoga or Pilates mat if you have one — a limited number of loaners may be available. Grip socks are recommended but not required. Arrive a few minutes early so you can get settled before class begins.
Wildwood Community Association has a good-sized free parking lot at the community centre. Street parking is also available alongside Spruce Drive. The hall entrance is clearly marked — if you're having trouble finding it, feel free to reach out ahead of your first class.
A drop-in lets you attend a single class for $14 — great if your schedule varies or you want to try it out first. A series gives you a set of classes at $12 per session, paid upfront. Series classes run on a set schedule of specific dates. Committing to a series is the best way to build a consistent practice and get the most out of your time on the mat.
Yes — Pilates is often recommended as part of injury recovery and Lindsay has experience working with clients across the injury-to-athletic spectrum. Please let her know about any injuries or limitations before class so she can offer appropriate modifications. When in doubt, check with your healthcare provider first.
